KARACHI: A 32-year-old man was shot dead in the Kalakot area on Wednesday morning, police said.

They added that Abid Ghulam Nabi was attacked by gunmen outside his home in Raxer Lane at around 6am.He sustained a single bullet wound in the head fired from the 9mm pistol and was taken to the Civil Hospital Karachi, where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.

Father of seven, the victim was jobless and a drug addict, said Kalakot SHO Haji Sanaullah.

The motive for the killing could not be ascertained immediately.
