Woman, two daughters sent to Darul Aman

MANSE HR A: A woman, who attempted to commit suicide along with her two minor daughters in Garhi Habibullah, was sent to DarulAmanbyalocalcourtonWednesday.
`We produced the woman, who attempted to commit suicide along with her two minor daughters, in the court and the judge sent her to Darul Aman,` said Mohammad Nadeem, investigating officer of Garhi Habibullah police station.
Rashmain Bibi, resident of Mittikot area of Balakot, threw her two daughters, Meraj Bibi, 6, and Rukia Bibi, 4, into Kunhar River, and also tried to jump into the water but people present on the occasion prevented her from doing so. The local divers rescued the two girls and shifted them to a hospital.
The woman was handed over to police by the local traders who also donated Rs40,000 for meeting needs of the poor family.
The woman, who was presented before the judge Seemab Siddique in Balakot, said that her husband, Khanizaman, had been doing a job in Karachi for last many years, but he didn`t send her any money, forcing her to beg to meet needs of her family.
`I wanted to live a respectable life, but after failing to even manage two times meal for my two daughters, I attempted to commit suicide along with my siblings,` said the woman. Ms Bibi said she had repeatedly requested her husband to send money, but he didn`t, and even suggested her to jump into river along with her daughters.
The woman and her two daughters were sent to Darul Aman in Abbottabad.
The woman`s neighbours told reporters that her husband had barred her from begging, which infuriated the woman, forcing her to attempt suicide. Correspondent
