The following is the text of the Joint Communique issued on Saturday: The conversations between the Prime Ministers of Bharat and Pakistan that started on Apr 2 concluded today. Agreement has been reached in the measures to be adopted to deal with the minority problem in Bharat and Pakistan with special reference to the situation in East Pakistan, West Bengal, Assam and Tripura. Both Prime Ministers signed the text of the agreement at 2 p.m. It will be presented simultaneously to the Bharati Parliament and the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan on Monday, April 10.

The conversations were conducted throughout in a friendly spirit and with a genuine desire to find a satisfactory solution of the problem discussed.
