I HAPPENED to come across the final result of India`s Union Public Service Commission 2017. The whole process of the competitive exam in India, similar to our CSS examination, was completed in six months.
After the main descriptive examination was conducted in October-November, the candidates` interviews were held from February to April and the commission announced the final result a few days ago.
In the case of Pakistan, the competitive exam candidates have to wait for 15 months or more to learn about their fate.
The Federal Public Service Commission should speed-up its recruitment process and reduce this period by one-third.
