GRAFFITI seems to have spiralled out of control. If anyone takes a train journey from Karachi to Khyber, they will understand my point.
Karachi seems to be its biggest victim.
The city`s walls carry everything from ads for spirtitual healers to the slogans of political parties. Sometimes the writing can be annoying when the message has inappropriate content.Graffiti destroys the beauty of a city. It is visual pollution.
Suchthoughtless acts shouldbe stringently discouraged and measures taken to make every city in the country spotless and serene. The concerned authorities need to start a clean-up campaign to erase graffiti and then enact and uphold laws that discourage such behaviour.
