NAROWAL: Two brothers were killed and their father was injured when their motorcycle collided with a truck in ShakargarhonSunday.

Muhammad Naveed, a resident of Dasri Bamboh village near Shakargarh, was returning home with his sons Ibrahim, 5, and Abdul Rehman, 18, after shopping when a buffalo came in front of his motorcycle.

The motorcyclist while trying to save the buffalo collided with a truck as a result of which they were injured and later the two brothers died.

The Shakargarh Saddar police handed over the bodies to the relatives afterlegalproceedings.

Citizens protested against the negligence due to which cattle frequent appear on roads and cause accidents. They say cows and buffaloes roam around and on the main roads of Narowal and Shakargarh cities day and night.
