THE Aghaz-i-Haqoog-i-Balochistan overseas scholarships, recently announced by the Higher Education Commission, are a golden opportunity for the students of backward areas of the province to continue their higher education.
The last date for the submission of its form is June 10, but, sadly, many students whose last semester examinations are in progress or are about to start in universities of Islamabad cannot apply for the scholarships as degree completion is a condition.
The authorities should either extend the last date or allow the awaiting students to apply.
