Former SHO accuses SSP of forcing him to lodge fake cases against Dr Mirza

HYDERABAD: Former SHO Khuda Bux Panhwar has accused Badin SSP Khalid Mustafa Korai of forcing him to lodge `fake FIRs` against former Sindh home minister Dr Zulfikar Mirza and his supporters, and claimed he suspended him when he refused to toe the line.
Mr Panhwar told journalists at a press conference here on Mondaythat SSP Korai had registered many fake FIRs against Dr Mirza and his six supporters including Dilbar Khwaja, Irshad Khwaja, Mehar Din Marri and many unidentified men.
He clarified that he was neither a supporter of Dr Mirza nor a political activist. `SSP Korai is a corrupt police officer and a man of PPP co-chairman Asif AliZardari,` he alleged.
He said that he held the post of SHO at the Kario Ghanwar police station for eight days only as he was soon suspended and reverted to the post of ASI from SI as a punishment for disobeying the SSP`s order to register fake cases against Dr Mirza and his supporters on June 6.
He appealed to the Chief of ArmyStaff, Supreme Court, Sindh High Court to serve him justice, reinstate him and post him to some other district and said he would soon file a petition in the SHC against the SSP.
He said that he would not appeal to Sindh IGP and other high officers because he had no hope they could be of any help to him.
