NOWSHERA: Two motorcyclists were killed when they were trying to overtake another motorcycle near Amangarh here on Thursday.

Official sources said that two motorcyclists identified as Sajid and Toray of Dag Baisud were riding their bike on the main PeshawarNowshera road at midnight when they started race with another motorcyclist at Amangarh village.

Police said that one of the bikers hit a roadside grill and then collided with a truck loaded with iron bars.

As a result, two youths were killed on the spot. The bodies were brought to main Rashid Shaheed Hospital at Pabbi for autopsy.

Meanwhile, a man was killed on Thursday at Dag Ismailkhel, Nowshera.

Police said that Sirajuddin was shot dead by two persons of Spin Khak when he was going to offer prayers at a local mosque.

Pabbi police registered the case and have started investigation.
