AROUND four months ago, the National Testing Service (NTS) published an advertisement for the posts of vaccinators (BPS-6), but there is no news to date regarding the prerequisite test for the said position.
Meanwhile, 336 old and 800 new vaccinators have already been hired by the Sindh government. Considering those who applied for the position are still waiting to hear back, the new appointments seem highly suspicious.
Thousands of applicants applied for the position of vaccinators, paying the mandatory challan while submitting the forms, and waiting to appear in the mandatory test. However, all their efforts appear to have been in vain.
This is sheer injustice with poor candidates who work hard to prepare for jobs that are then snatched away from them by corrupt officials. Only those who desperately need jobs to earn for their families know what this illegal rejection feels like. One can only hope that the relevant authorities would take action to protect the rights of the deprived aspirants who don`t even have the means to speak up for themselves.
