CHARSADDA: Four persons were killed and one was injured in three different incidents in various parts of Charsadda district on Tuesday.

In the first incident, Hamdullah was stabbed to death while Kabir was injured when two families clashed with each other in Wardaga area of Sar Dheri.

Nasir, the father of the deceased, nominated Javed and Kabir in the FIR while the rival party nominated Bilal, Wajid and Sjid, sons of Nasir, in the FIR. Both the families blamed each other for the clash.

In the second incident, a man slit the throat of his sister-in-law over a minor family dispute in Sar Daryab area.

Saifur Rehman, the husband of the deceased woman, reported to police that his brother Imran slit the throat of his wife Rabia over a family dispute.

Meanwhile, seven-year-oldAyesha was killed in Kharki area when she was hit by a tractor. The driver managed to escape after the incident.

Also, the body of an unidentified person, dumped in a gunny bag, was found in the district. Police put the body at a police station for identification, however, no one identified the deceased.

Meanwhile, 32-year-old Adnan drowned in the Khiali River here on Tuesday. The body of the drowned man couldn`t be fished out till late night.

Sources said that Adnan along with his friends was bathing in the river to beat the scorching heat when all of a sudden the gushing water swept him away.

The local divers present on the occasion tried to fish out his body but they couldn`t succeed.

The district administration has imposed ban on swimming in the rivers in Charsadda.Correspondent
