Teenage boy missing for five days found killed

GUJRAT: A 13-year-old boy missing for five days was found murdered in a sugar cane field in village Jani Chak of Dinga police precincts on Friday.

Ali Hamza Ansari went missing on July 3. The police registered a kidnap case against Fiaz Ansari of the same village and two unidentified suspects on the report of Hamza`s uncle Mukhtar Ahmed.

The police arrested Fiaz and his accomplice Zameer who both confessed to killing the boy after rape.

The body was shifted to theKharianTHQHospital for autopsy.

A team of forensic experts collected forensic evidence from the crime scene and the samples will be sent to the Punjab forensic science agency forfurtherlegalproceedings.ROBBERIES: Gunmen looted Rs373,000 from a grocery merchant and shot bullets on the loader vehicle of a fruit vendor for not stopping the vehicle in two incidents near Golara Hashim village of Gulliana police precincts on Friday.

S h o p k e e p e r Muhammad Asghar, of village Rarriala, was on his way to Lalamusa to buy the material for his shop when near Bhattian village, gunmen snatched the cash and fled.

The Gulliana police registered a case against unidentified suspects.

In yet another incident, gunmen signalled a loader vehicle of fruit vendor Shehzad, also of Rarriala, when he was on his way to Lalamusa. When he did not pull over, the robbers opened firing at the vehicle but fortunately, he escaped unhurt.

The police are looking into the matter.
