GOING through various localities of Karachi during Eid holidays, I noticed heaps of garbage on roads and pavements. It was shocl(ing to see that almost all over Karachi from North Karachi to Clifton and from Airport to Tower one could see garbage lying unattended for months.
With the advent of monsoon season, this garbage is very likely to block the sewerage and drainage system. The garbage left unattended is a potential source of infectious and viral diseases.
