FIR as woman alleges rape, torture for years

SIALKOT: The Motra police have registered a case against a factory worker who allegedly raped a `colleague` for three years and tortured her when she threatened to complain to police about her trial.
According to the FIR (397/2017) lodged at the Motra police st ation under section 376 of PPC, the woman said she had been working at a hosiery factory in Faisalabad after separation with her husband to make a living for herself and three minor children. She alleged that her colleague, a resident of Mian Channu, asked her to go with him and his family to Sialkot, whereshe would get much better wages of her work in some factory.
She said the suspect brought her three years ago to a rented house at Daska`s Aadha village, where he raped her and also made video recordings of the crime to blackmail her. She said she was subject to rape and torture and the man also deprived her of her wages, said the FIR.
And when she plucked courage to threaten the man with approaching police, the woman said, he brutally beat her during which she lost her one eye.
She demanded arrest of the perpetrator who, she said, was now threatening her with dire consequences for exposing the crime.
