LOWER DIR: Two persons were killed when unknown persons opened fire on them on the Chakdara Bypass Road here on Thursday night, the residents and police said.

They identified the deceased as Farhan Ali, a resident of Ramial Chakdara, and Nazir, a resident of Miskini Dara Jandol.

Habibullah, a cousin of Farhan Ali, charged Sultanat of Garo Shah Chakdara, Nisar of Ouch Sharqi and an unknown person with the murder over a property dispute.

He told the police that he was travelling with the deceased in his car when another car intercepted them, and the inmates opened fire on Farhan Ali, killing him on the spot, while he remained unhurt.

Meanwhile, the wife of Nazir, the second deceased, told the Chakdara police that Hamza, lhtisham, Nadar and Peer Aslam killed her husband, also over a property dispute. The Chakdara police registered cases and started further investigations.-Correspondent
