This is with reference to a report published in Dawn Metropolitan on October 8 captioned `Cabinet blamed for delaying RTI legislation.
During a conference, `Pakistan`s RTI legislation regime: learning from provincial legislative experiences` organised by Centre for Peace and Development Initiatives, it was stated that the `Right to Information (RTI) Bill` had been pending with the cabinet for 15 months.
However, due to an editing error, the report said, `Bill has been on cabinet`s agenda for the last 15 years.
