Rockets fired at Bannu sugar mills

LAKKI MARWAT, Nov 8: Unknown miscreants fired rockets on Bannu Sugar Mills (BSM) near Naurang town here late on Thursday night. However, the attack didn`t cause any human or property loss.

`One of the rockets fired from unknown direction landed on the premises of sugar mills near the boiler house and exploded with a bang,` said Ahmad Ali, general manager of BSM, while talking to journalists on Friday.

He said the factory installations remained safe in the rocket attack. `The attack didn`t cause any human loss too,` he said.

The rocket attack panicked the residents living near the sugar mills.

ROAD ACCIDENT: A man was killed while ten others were wounded when a bus overturned near Manjiwala chowk on Indus Highway here on Friday.

The bus (B-3072, Peshawar) was going to Peshawar from Karachi. When it reached Manjiwala chowk the driver lost control over the steering. As a result, it skidded off the road and overturned, killing the conductor, Habib, resident of Peshawar. Ten other passengers, including women and children, were injured.
