KARACHI: The moon of Rabi-ul-Awwal 1440 Hijri was not sighted in the country and Eid Miladun Nabi would fall on Nov 21, the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee announced on Thursday.

“The meeting of Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee for sighting the moon of Rabi-ul-Awwal, presided over by its chairman Mufti Muneebur Rehman, was held at the Met office where no evidence of moon sighting was received from any part of the country. So Eid Miladun Nabi (12th Rabi-ul-Awwal) will be observed on November 21,” said a committee’s official. —Staff Reporter
