TOBA TEK SINGH: A youth allegedly raped two minor sisters at gunpoint at Chak 357-JB, Gojra, on Friday.

As per police, a labourer `S` would go for work, leaving his three minor daughters at his house in the village as his wife had died.

In his absence, the suspect, a vagabond, allegedly raped Shahbaz`s eldest 14-yearold daughter `Z` at gunpoint for two months, threatening to kill her and her sisters, if she complained to anyone.

On Friday, the suspect again forced his entry into the house and raped `Z` and her eight-yearold sister.

The girls informed their father about the incident, who reported the matter to Gojra Saddar police.

Acting on the complaint, the police registered a case against the suspect, claiming his arrest.

MAN DIES: A man died and two othersinjured when their car rammed into a roadside tree on Pirmahal-Khikha Road near Chak 342-GB, Choharwala, on Friday.

As per police, the deceased was identified as Nadeem Akhtar (30), The injured, who were shifted to Pirmahal THQ Hospital, were identified as Umair Murtaza (32), Tanweer Ahmad (35) and an unidentified man.

The accident reportedly occurred because of the poor visibility cause d by smog in the area.

Meanwhile, in another smog-related incident, six persons were injured as a van collided with a trailer on M-3 motorway near service area of Rajana interchange.

The injured persons, including two women, were shifted to Toba DHQ Hospital.

KILLED: A watchman died after falling from the third storey of a flour mills in Chak 109GB, Jaranwala Tehsil, on Friday evening.

Reports said Liaqat Ali, 50, fell down after his foot slipped. He died on the spot.
