2,700 treated at Navy`s medical camp at Port Lagos

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Navy ships visited Port Lagos, Nigeria, as part of overseas deployment to the African region.
At Port Lagos, naval ships Moawin and Aslat were extended warm welcome by Nigerian Navy.
During the visit, the mission commander and commanding officers of Pakistan Navy ships called on prominent Nigerian authorities, including the flag officer commanding, western naval command, and naval training command.
During the port call, Pakistan Navy doctors and paramedics set up a free medical camp.
The visit was amply utilised to highlight the deteriorating situation in India-held Kashmir.
During meetings with the Nigerian authorities, the mission commander conveyed sincere regards from Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi to the people of Nigeria in general and Nigerian Navy in particular.
The two sides displayed commitment and desire to expand and enhance relations between the two brotherly countries.-PPI
