KARACHI: The city remained under the influence of the cold wave as temperature dropped further on Sunday.

The Met office said that the trend would continue and Karachiites would likely to bear another chilly week.

The minimum temperature in the city dropped to 9.7 degree Celsius on Sunday with 88 per cent humidity. “The situation, however, improved in the day and by 5pm the maximum temperature was recorded at 21.5°C with 42pc humidity,” said a Met official.

“The city temperature may stay within single digit during nights as this cold wave is likely to continue for another week. After January 15, we see another westerly disturbance would enter the country and cause rains in Balochistan,” he said.
