TAXILA: In a country where even gang rape victim runs from pillar to post to get her case registered, a block factory owner succeeded in registering a Rs500 bulb theft case in Bassal Police station in Attock district on Thursday.

This case appeared to get funny remarks from social media users, as a complainant identified as Rashid Iqbal, a resident of mohallah Karchain in Mathail, reported to Bassal police that he went to his house after locking his block factory located on G.T. Road and when he returned, he found that blub installed at the factory`s door stolen.

Subsequently, police registered a case against unknown thieves under section 379 Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) and launched further investigation.
