TEHERAN: Radio stations in Baghdad and Teheran yesterday [March 8] stopped broadcasting propaganda against each other following last Thursday`s [March 6] agreement to settle their border dispute, Iranian officials said. They said three Iraqi radio stations stopped broadcasting attacks on Iran for the first time in severalyears and Iranian radio and Television Stations reciprocated.
The evening newspaper, Kayhan International said ... both countries were expected to withdraw troops from their common border and allow travel to be resumed.

He was 49. Vice-Admiral Ahmed was laid to rest at the Islamabad graveyard with full military honours. The burial was attended by Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto ... and high ranking civil and military officers. ... A 15-gun salute was fired as the late Admiral`s body was lowered into the grave.
