25 litigants booked after armed clash outside court

DADU: A fierce clash that had lasted about an hour outside the city`s judicial complex on Saturday and left seven of the embattled litigants injured has led to the registration of case against 25 suspects.
The FIR was registered on Sunday under relevant sections of the Pakistan Penal Code and Anti-Terrorism Act at Dadu`s A-Section police station.
The litigants Chandio tribesmen on the one side and Bhand community members on the other had just come out of the judicial complex after hearing of their case. They started attacking each other with clubs outside the court and some of them later used firearms and freely used the same, causing fear, panic and terror in the entire area.
In his complaint, Yaseen Chandio, stated that around 25 people from the rival Bhand community first attacked his fellow tribesmen involved in the litigation. He nominated 20 of the 25 suspects who included Aftab, Ashfaq, Naseer, Hussain, Hassan, Naveed and Waheed.
He further stated that Ismail, Manthar, Waheed and Atta Mohammad were among those injured in the attack.
