G U J R A N W A L A : Eminabad police registered a case on Wednesday against two suspects who allegedly raped a woman who recently returned from Dubai.

According to officials, the alleged rape survivor of Hafizabad and a Dubaibased worker had developed a relationship with a local man through social media. The two reportedly remained in contact, and he allegedly promised to marry her.

Upon her return to Pakistan, the woman met the man, who took her to a house in Azeem Colony.

There, with the help of an accomplice, he allegedly raped her. The suspects also filmed explicit videos of the victim during the incident, police said.

DISMISSED: Head Constable Zubair Ahmed was dismissed from service on Wednesday following charges of corruption, and alleged links with drug dealers.

According to officials, Zubair, posted at Kassoki police station, was accused of accepting bribes from narcotics dealers, misusing his position, and engaging in corrupt activities.

After investigation, the charges were found to be true, and DPO Atif Nazir ordered his dismissal from the police force. Correspondent
