PESHAWAR: A female employee of Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH) was found dead in her room at the nursing hostel here, officials said.

The deceased was identified as Nadia Khurshid, who was working as junior clinical technician for physiotherapy at the hospital since April 2012.

A KTH statement issued here said that she was found dead in her room on Monday (May 8). It said that she hanged herself to death and the post mortem report was awaited.

A source said that the female technician was on duty till 2:00pm on Saturday. The source said that she had already applied for Monday`s leave.

`The body was decomposed,` the source said. He said that the victim had sometimes back separated from her husband who had got the custody of their six years old child after the divorce. He said that she was not a nurse, but was staying at the nursing hostel due to accommodation problem.-Bureau Report
