DERA GHAZI KHAN: A Karachi-bound PIA plane made an emergency landing soon after take-off from local airport after one of its engines malfunctioned.

Airport sources told Dawn that 58 passengers and four crew members were on board the ATR plane .

According to PIA spokesman, the pilot noticed malfunctioning in engine number 2 soon after take-off and brought the plane back.

The airport manager said alternative plane had been arranged to take passengers to their destination.
