LAHORE: The battery storage sector, with 27 agreements worth $82 million, was the highlight of the PakistanChina B2B Conference held on Saturday.

The conference was attended by 105 representatives from 74 Chinese companies and 136 representatives from Pakistani companies across key industrial and commercial sectors.

Addressing the moot, Haroon Akhtar Khan, Special Assistant to thePrime Minister, said it led to the signing of 40 MoUs and 27 agreements in the battery storage sector.

He said that the B2B meetings with leading Chinese and Pakistani companies will help promote industrial collaboration, investment, and technology transfer in Pakistan.

He highlighted that Chinese investors expressed keen interest ininvestinginPakistan`s electric vehicle sector.
