Most parts of Balochistan experience extremely hot weather

QUETTA: Most parts of Balochistan experienced extremely hot weather on Thursday with temperatures exceeding 50 degrees Celsius in some areas.
In Sibi, the hottest place in the country, the temperature was recorded at 52 degrees.
The extremely hot weather has badly affected routine life in the province.
Traffic on roads in major towns and citles of the province remained thin throughout the day. Markets and shopping centres were giving a deserted look as trade and business activities remained dull.
Long hours of loadshedding in most parts of the province have further aggravated the situation and increased dif ficul-ties of people in the holy month of Ramazan.
People whom this correspondent talked to have vented their anger on electricity supply companies and called for reduction in loadshedding hours during Ramazan.
The Met Office has forecast a dry and very hot weather in the region for one to two days. It said Sibi, Jacoabad, Larkana, Turbat and their adjacent areas would remain extremely hot as temperatures in these areas would remain between 45 and 50 degrees.
On Thursday, temperature recorded in Dera Murad Jamali was 49 degrees, Nokundi and Dalbandin 46 degrees, Turbat 45 degrees, Lasbela 42 degrees, Quetta 35 degrees, Gwadar 39 degrees andZiarat30 degrees.
