REPORTS in the media have said that transgender Alisha, who was shot multiple times, died of her injuries without getting any emergency life-saving treatment. This is inhuman and a violation of professional ethics.
The more serious a patient`s illness, the higher the priority for treatment. In a life-threatening situation, emergency treatment is administered first, then other issues are taken care of. During a war, the enemy`s seriously injured soldier gets higher priority than your own heroes.
The unfortunate Alisha fell victim to the intolerant, extremist, violent mindset of our society which needs emergency treatment at the national level.
