QAU`s research productivity ranks among top 50 in world

ISLAMABAD: Quaid-iAzam University (QAU) has been ranked 41 in terms of research productivity according to the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings 2023.
According to a statement issued by QAU, the university was ranked 363rd among the top 500 universities of the world.
Overall, the university has improved its performance by 15 places, the press release stated, adding it has significantly improved the international research network, teaching, academic and employer reputation.
International outlook, industry income and employment outcomes are also areas of improvement, it stated.
Vice chancellor of QAU Prof Dr Mohammad Ali congratulated the faculty, students, staff and alumni on this achievement lauding their dedication and hard work.

In the 2023 edition of the QS World University Rankings, QAU has performed well among the top 26percent higher education institutions in the world. Our focus on teaching and research is acknowledged by prestigious international ranking agencies,` said the VC.
QAU has also secured a place among the best universities in the world as per other international rankings including Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022, which placed QAU on top of the list of higher education institutions in Pakistan and 116th in Asia.
