ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq has convened a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee today (Tuesday) at Parliament House to discuss the legislative agenda and procedural matters related to the budget session.

`The committee will deliberate on the strategy for conducting the Budget Session 2025-26 of the National Assembly. It will also determine the duration of debates on the federal budget and other related parliamentary business,` said an official handout issued by the National Assembly Secretariat on Monday.

As per the handout, federal ministers Azam Nazeer Tarar, Rana Tanveer Hussain, Attaullah Tarar, Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Khalid Magsi have been invited to attend the Business Advisory Committee meeting.

From the treasury benches, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed and Nuzhat Sadiq of the PML-N, Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani, Syed Naveed Qamar, Shazia Marri and Syeda Shehla Raza of the PPP, Syed Aminul Haque and Syed Hafeezuddin of the MQM-P have been invited to attend the meeting.

Opposition members Asad Qaiser, Zartaj Gul, Gohar Ali Khan, Malik Amir Dogar, and Riaz Fatyana have also been extended invitations.

Furthermore, MNAs Noor Alam Khan of the JUI-F, Ejazul Haq of the PML-Z, Hussain Elahi of the PML-Q, and Pullain Baloch have been invited to participate in the meeting, according to the official announcement by the NA Secretariat.
