ISLAMABAD: A week-long wildlife art exhibition was inaugurated at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) showcasing extraordinary talents of self-taught artists Ahsan Qureshi and Kamran Qureshi.
Caretaker Minister for National Heritage and Culture Jamal Shah opened the exhibition in the presence of PNCA Director General Ayoub Jamali and a large number of art lovers.
The artworks rendered in oil and water colours encapsulate the essence of freedom from spatial constraints. Through their brushstrokes, the two artists delicately balance the relationship between humanity and nature, drawing attention to the fragile harmony between the two.
The exhibition promises a unique opportunity for art enthusiasts and nature lovers to immerse themselves in the rich biodiversity of Pakistan.
The stunning artworks not only captivate the senses but also serve as a poignant reminder of the urgent need for wildlife preservation in the country.
Speaking on the occasion, Jamal Shah said it was a matter of pride that the beautiful artworks of Ahsan Qureshi and Kamran Qureshi were put on exhibition.
`How should animals be treated? Both artists have beautifully expressed this in their works. Theevent marks a significant moment in Pakistan`s art scene, showcasing the profound passionfornature and wildlife shared by these gifted artists,` he said.
`Both Ahsan and Qureshi have translated their childhood experiences of hunting and trekking with their father into hyper-realistic paintings. Their dedication to wild-life conservation and their meticulous portrayal of Pakistan`s endangered species have earned them recognition, both nationally and internationally.
The exhibition will remain open until October 15, offering visitors a chance to appreciate the masterpieces created by these talented artists.
