In the upcoming horror comic Archie in Hell, Archie Andrews is sacrificed by an apocalyptic cult, but gets a chance to return to life through a strange alternate dimension.

In Issue #2, Archie finds himself in a dark version of 1690, where a strict Puritan community called Riverdale is filled with strange and dangerous events. Taking the name `Archibald`,he is hidden by the local Andrews family because his modern-day behaviour could put him in danger.

As strange echoes of Betty, Veronica and Jughead begin to appear, Archie fears that he may not be the only person connected to the cult`s plans.

Archie in Hell #2 is written by Patrick Horvath and illustrated by Tyler Crook. It is scheduled for release on December 16, 2026.
