Surgical week from 13th

RAWALPINDI: The Society of Surgeons of Pakistan Rawalpindi-Islamabad chapter is organising a surgical week from Nov 13 to 19.
The highlights of this surgical week are 16 pre-conference workshops which will be held in different hospitals of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
Prof Naeem Zia, the president of the Rawalpindi-Islamabad chapter of the society briefed the surgeons about the arrangements.
These workshops are scheduled to be held in Holy Family Hospital, Benazir Bhutto Hospital, Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, CDA Hospital, CMH, Shifa International Hospital, Nescom Hospital and DHQ Hospital, Rawalpindi.
Senior Professors and Experts, Prof Mohammad Umar, Prof Mohammad Idris Anwar, Prof Jahangir Sarwar, Prof Mohammad Hanif, Prof TanvirKhalig,Prof Ghulam Siddig, Prof Naveed Akhtar, Prof Naeem Taj, Prof Riaz Ahmad, Brigadier Bilal Umair and Col Nauman Imitiaz will demonstrate different surgeries for young doctors.
The main scientific conference will be inaugurated on Nov 18 at Rawalpindi. Prof IjazAhsan one of the most senior and eminent surgeons will be the chiefguest at the conference.
A competition session will also be held and gold medals will be awarded to best performers.
Expert Surgeons from Pakistan and abroad will interact with young doctors in breakfast session on Nov 19.
Senior surgeons from all over Pakistan and UK will present 42 research articles.
