Non-political forces want to hijack PB-47 by-poll: Malik

GWADAR: Former chief minister of Balochistan and National Party president Dr Abdul Malik Baloch on Friday said that workers must beware of non-political forces who were attempting to hijack the by-election in PB-47, Kech.
The voting is set for Dec 6.
He said that the National Party had been striving for the rights of the people of Balochistan and when the party was in power in 2013, it didn`t take any step against the party`s principles.
The NP leader was speaking at the opening ceremonyof an election office of the party in PB-47, Kech.
The National Party has fielded Fida Husain Dashti as its candidate for the byelection in the constituency.
Dr Baloch said that the party had decided to actively participate in bypolls to stop non-political forces from controlling byelection.
`The National Party has always supported democratic forces of the country and it believed in supremacy of parliament and therefore, the party workers should work day and night for victory of the party candidate in the by-election, Dr Baloch said.
