LAHORE: The Punjab School Education Department (SED) on Friday issued a notification about reopening of schools across the province from Monday.

There were rumours circulating on social media that the government had extended the winter vacation.

The SED notificationhas made it clear that there is no suggestion to increase winter vacation and all public and private schools will reopen on Monday.

SED Secretary Khalid Nazir Wattoo that the department had no plan to announce extension in winter vacation and schools would reopen on Monday.-StaffReporter
