SIALKOT: A man threw black ink on the face of Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif during a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz workers convention here on Saturday night.

Mr Asif was addressing the convention when the man standing near the stage threw the ink from a bottle while raising the slo-gan of `Labbaik Ya Rasool Allah`.

The minister`s face was smeared with black ink but he continued his speech and lef t the stage only af ter completing it.

Security officials arrested the man and shifted him to an undisclosed place.

However, the identity of the man was not disclosed.-Abid Hussain Mehdi
