Spring festival held in medical institute

PESHAWAR: The students and employees of Mahboob Medical Institute (MMI) here arranged a spring festival to highlight the significance of clean environment and to provide some moments of amusement to the people from the tense life.

The event was inaugurated by special secretary health Mohammad Idrees Khan. It proved full of festivity, describing the true colours of spring, according to a statement issued here on Saturday.

The entrance of the institute was beautifully decorated by the students, highlighting the arrival of spring. Dif ferent food stalls were also set up by the students, while games and competitions were held among the students and staff.

Attanr, which was an essential part of the theme, was joined by many of the participants with zest which made everything looked so rejoicing for all. Overall, the event proved to be a chance for the students and faculty to relax.

Deputy Director Social Welfare Liaquat Ali Khan, assistant director health Sheraz Khan, doctors and physiotherapists on this occasion visited different stalls and appreciated the organisers. They said that holding such activities were important to get relief from stress.

The festival, offering amusement and entertainment for all, also gave the students a break f rom their examinations.
