Badar hits double ton as Pakistan sweep SL

LAHORE: Badar Munir hit a blazing unbeaten double century to guide Pakistan blind team to a sensational seven-wicket victory over Sri Lanka in the third One-day International at the LCCA Ground on Sunday.
The win also gave Pakistan a 3-0 clean sweep of the series.
Put into bat, Ruwan Wasantha (112 off 87 balls) and Suranga Sampath (83) put on 165 for the first wicket to help Sri Lanka collect 362-7 in the allotted 40 overs.
Pakistan, in reply, lost Mohsin Khan, who was dismissed for a duck, but stand-in slcipper Mohammad Ayyaz`s 18-ball 50 lif ted them out of early loss. But it was Badar, who stole the show by scoring an undefeated 202.
