LAHORE: As a result of the partition of the Central Museum, Lahore, which, Star is reliably informed, took place last week, the Museum will be ultimately richer, as over 20,000 articles belonging to Mohenjo Daro, Harappa and Taxila will be returned by New Delhi to the Lahore Central Museum. Complete agreementbetweenIndia and Pakistan has been reached on this point, it is learnt.
The articles were removed to New Delhi just before the partition of India partly from the Central Museum and partly from Taxila, i.e., from the Pakistan territory.
