Travel by train

2025-04-11
I H APPEN to be a frequent long-distance traveller, especially between Karachi and Peshawar. Through my experience, I cansay that trains are a rather cheerful option over long distances. They have no comparison with buses that are congested and do not allow much physical movement.

In contrast, trains have ample space. For instance, there are three sleeper beds in each horizontal line of the separate economy class, with separate seats along with separate washrooms.

Passengers generally enjoy the travelling experience in trains way more than the buses. In buses, they remain seated in one place, feeling bored and uncomfortable.

However in trains, they can get off at hustling stations and explore them.

Moreover, they can buy things they need from vendors who visit the bogies every other hour. There is no need to wait for the train to stop, and get off to make a purchase.

Despite these plus points, the masses generally prefer buses. They have their own reasons, but one should experience a long-distance train journey at least once. It is an experience worth having.
