LAHORE: The Punjab government has planned the launch of second phase of the Chief Minister`s Dhee Rani programme from Friday (today) to April 25.

The Punjab social welfare department has planned 19 collective marriage events in 36 districts of the province under the programme.

The department has registered some 1,732 candidates who will tie the knot under the Punjab CM`s initiative.
