KARACHI: An ambulance carrying the body of an elderly woman entered the Karachi central prison on Wednesday so that an undertrial prisoner had the last glimpse of his mother after the jail authorities turned down his request to attend the funeral. Waleed Kamal, a worker of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, has been detained for his alleged involvement in the murder of a Sunni Tehreek activist in Gulistan-i-Jauhar.-Staff Reporter
