QUETTA: Focal Person of Coronavirus Control Programme and Liaison Assistant for CM Balochistan Mir Umair Muhammad Hasani lauded the role of Pakistan Army against coronavirus and said it was leading the situation as frontline fighter.
Without the support of paramilitary force, it was difficult to bring the global outbreak under control, he said, adding that military medical corps was deputed at the border town Taftan since the very first day which has been playing its significant part in order to restrain the spread of virus.
In a statement on Sunday, Mir Umair said that awareness campaigns to educate the public about the virus, establishment of quarantine and isolation centres within different areas were set up with collective efforts of paramilitary forces and civil administration.
Urging the masses to adopt precautionary measures being described by the health professionals and administration, he said following such precautions we can save lives of our loved ones and it can only be defeated through collective efforts.
