PEACE in Afghanistan now seems a pipe-dream, but what is more deplorable is how Pakistan and Afghanistan blame each other for their own failures. It takes two to tango where the latter is making mistakes that the former has committed earlier.
It is time the two pursued détente and mended fences at the earliest, and since the common enemy is known, all that is required is to combat it, and ensure that the sanctuaries that exist in the two countries should not be used against one another.
