TOBA T EK SINGH: The Samundri police on Friday registered a case against the Samundri City station house of ficer (SHO) and 19 other policemen for trespassing on the house of Rana Abdul Waheed and and harassing women.

Samundri Additional District and Sessions Judge Nadeem Anwar ordered the registration of a case on complainant`s petition.

In his FIR, the complainant says SHO Shahid Ali Punno and his 19 accomplice police of ficials scaled into his house from outer gate to arrest him a day before PTI chief Imran Khan`s Islamabad long march. No arrest has so far been made.

PTI: Pakistan Tehreek-iInsaf`s (PTI`s) standing committee on accountability and discipline for north Punjab zone removed PTI district president Dr Waheed Akbar and all office bearers of district organisation on Thursday.

A press release said former district president retired Maj Ahmad Nawaz and party worker of Pirmahal Ehsanul Haq Nanha sent complaints to party chief Imran Khan that the district president and other office bearers were involved in patronising the activists of other political parties in local organisations.

Committeeheadretired Lt-Col Fakharuz Zaman directed the Faisalabad division executive body members to appoint new office bearers for Toba Tek Singh district within a month.
