HYDERABAD: Another locally-made petrol bomb the second in the last six days was lobbed at a police post of Qasimabad in the small hours of Tuesday.
It caused an explosion in the area, but no loss of life or injury was reported, according to Hyderabad SSP Adeel Chandio.
It was lobbed at the post of the Rapid Response Force (RRF) at around 3.30am.
One policeman was present on duty there, but he escaped the attack. The SSP said that according to the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), it was a locally-made petrol bomb that was thrown at the post.
Earlier, a similar blast took place at Naseem Nagar police station on June 4. The Sindhudesh Revolutionary Army (SRA) was said to have claimed the responsibility for Tuesday`s attack.
