PML-N to launch party reorganisation next month

PESHAWAR:PakistanMuslimLeague-Nawazhasdecided to hold a public meeting in Peshawar in September to initiate reorganisation process of the party and preparations for 2018 general elections.
The decision was taken in a meeting of the party held here on Wednesday with its provincial president Pir Sabir Shah in the chair, said a press release.
`A large number of workers will participate in the public meeting and central leaders of the party would address it to prove that largest party of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is PML-N, said Mr Shah.
He said that the workers, who had rendered sacrifices for the party during government of retired Gen Pervez Musharraf, would be honoured on the occasion to prove that activists were asset of the party.
Mr Shah claimed that the visits of Nawaz Sharif to Hazara, Bannu and Dera Ismail Khan divisions had very positive impacts on the party. The prime minister would be invited to Peshawar to remove grievances of workers in the district, he added.
The PML-N leader said that the provincial government had announced to bring a change within 90 days but it failed to do so even during the last three and a half years. He said that PTI disappointed people after which its own workers were leaving the party. He said that PML-N should take advantage of the opportunity to bring the disgruntled workers ofPTIintoitsfolds.
Several senior office-bearers of PML-N including provincial senior vice president Waqif Khan, vice president Aftab Ahmed Khan, Mohammad Afzal Panyala, additional general secretary Haji Afzal and Peshawar district president Abdul Sattar Khalil also addressed the meeting.
