DADU: Teachers of higher secondary schools took out a rally after boycotting classes and staged a demonstration before A-Section police station on Thursday in protest against torture of their colleague by influential persons.

After the teachers’ protest, police lodged FIR on a complaint lodged by higher secondary schoolteacher Javid Akbar Memon against Ishfaq Bhand, Bago Bhand and four unknown persons for subjecting him to torture.

Meanwhile, Masjid School Teachers’ Association also boycotted classes to protest against district officer of education for his failure to resolve their issues.
